Job summary

Jacobs in Nashville seeks a driven Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, scheduling, and reporting on a major corporate headquarters project. You will train staff, develop SOPs and ensure accurate forecasts while coordinating with the PMCM team.

You will collaborate with project members across the Southeast, applying expertise in EVMS, scheduling, and BI dashboards to deliver results and presentations to management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of project controls and scheduling on large programs.
• Experience across cost, earned value, scheduling, estimating and document control.
• Familiar with BI dashboards and scheduling software (Unifier, E-builder, Kahua, Primavera, Excel).
• Willing to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project controls for a large corporate HQ project.
• Train and supervise project controls staff and set SOPs.
• Manage cost control, schedule monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
• Present updates to client management and senior leadership.

We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls Manager in Nashville, TN to join our PMCM Team in leading a large Corporate Headquarters Project. As a key member of our Project Management Team, you’ll provide the day- to- day support and execution of project controls functions for project and programs. You will be training and supervising project controls staff and be responsible for standard operating procedures in cost control and schedule monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll manage overall project and program cost controls and reporting function by supporting client management, updates, and presentations to all levels of management. You will also develop, interpret, and execute policy objectives and standards applicable to cost and schedule controls coupled with analysis activities and client deliverables. You will collaborate with Project Team Members throughout the Southeast Region.

Here’s what you’ll need

• BA or BS or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or related.
• 10+ years of related Project Controls and Scheduling/Planning experience on large programs
• Experienced in all project controls disciplines - Cost Engineering, Earned Value Management, Scheduling, Estimating, Document Control, etc.
• Broad knowledge of Project Control Systems, BI dashboard technology and processes including leading schedule processing software, program database platforms and spreadsheet applications (ie Unifier, E-builder, Kahua, Primavera, Excel, etc)
• Willingness to travel domestically.

• Understanding of operational business processes in the Engineering and Construction industry
• IT experience or aptitude a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $145,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
