Job summary

Qualifications

• 16 years of relevant experience; or 20 years of experience in lieu of education.

• Oversee project staffing across departments, offices, and divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

HNTB is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and other transportation and infrastructure projects, including aviation and transit, through all phases from pursuit and planning through design and project closeout. Responsible for proactively managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, contractual requirements, and financial performance, the Senior Project Manager ensures successful project outcomes and drives HNTB's 4 for 4 performance goals—quality work, on time, on budget, and client satisfaction.

In addition, the position supports business development, contributes to pursuits and proposals, and mentors project staff.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant degree.

What We Prefer

• Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE).
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and infrastructure projects through all phases.
• Proven success developing project workplans and managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of project controls, utilization management, earned revenue, and profitability.
• Ability to proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering aviation facilities and airport infrastructure projects, with transit, government, and other infrastructure experience considered beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop project managers and technical professionals within a multidisciplinary environment.
