Job summary

LSI Industries is hiring a Senior Project Manager to support the ADAPT team in Houston, TX. This role plans, directs, and coordinates digital signage projects across multiple states, balancing priorities and budgets while leading other PMs and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, maintaining BOMs, tracking progress, and ensuring timely, accurate billing. Some travel is expected; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required to join our industry-leading team.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represents LSI Industries positively with employees, clients, suppliers and the community we serve.
  • Interacts professionally with a diverse group of employees and customers.
  • Estimates new projects by working with Purchasing, Design, and Engineering.
  • Creates and maintains Quotes, Bill of Materials and Sales Orders.
  • Tracks projects through manufacturing/fulfillment to ensure timelines and specifications.
  • Monitors inventory levels in assigned accounts to meet customer expectations.
  • Performs field surveys of project sites to gather technical information for proposals.
  • Prepares project proposals or plans for funding, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Maintains client contacts and relationships for current projects and ongoing activity.
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase and recruits project personnel.
  • Confer with project staff and sub-contractors to outline work plans and assign duties.
  • Directs and coordinates activities to ensure progress on schedule and budget.
  • Prepares status reports for clients and management and adjusts plans as required.
  • Coordinates project activities with regulatory agencies including permitting.
  • Ensures billings are accurate and revenue/expenses are reported monthly.
  • Supports the sales process.

We are looking for a Senior Project Managerto support our ADAPT team in Houston, TX.

Akron, OH is where you’ll find LSI’s hub for the Digital Solutions, and Adapt Program Implementation businesses. These businesses provide turnkey product and service solutions to the Grocery, Quick Serve Restaurant, Retail Petroleum & Convenience Store and Pharmacy vertical markets.

SUMMARY

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed period and funding parameters. The work activities will principally be digital signage implementations for multiple clients in a multi-state/nationwide area. The position requires directing and coordinating activities of other project managers and independent activities requiring self-motivation. The workloads will vary and require the individual to balance priorities in daily activities. Some travel is to be expected.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tracks projects through the manufacturing/fulfillment process in order to ensure timelines and adherence to specifications
  • Monitors inventory levels in assigned accounts to meet customer’s expectations
  • Performs field surveys of individual project sites to gather technical information for project proposals and implementation requirements
  • Prepares project proposals or plans to determine period, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various passes of project
  • Maintains client contacts and relationships for current projects and ongoing activity
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
  • Confers with project staff and sub-contractors to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel and sub-contractors to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
  • Prepares status reports of projects, communicates with clients, sub-contractors, other LSI business units and modifies schedules or plans as required
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
  • Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies including permitting and compliance activities
  • Ensures all billings are accurate for assigned projects and revenue and expenses are matched in like reporting periods and processed accordingly each month
  • Supports the sales process
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinating activities of other project managers supporting the projects
  • Directing third party contractors
