The Remodel / Grand Opening Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of retail remodels, grand openings, and other multi-site deployment projects. This role manages projects from initial planning through final completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations are met. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, proactively driving project success while minimizing risks and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of remodel, grand opening, and multi-site deployment projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables from project kickoff through completion.
  • Maintain project tracking tools, including Smartsheet or similar project management platforms, as the primary source of truth for project status, timelines, risks, and action items.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Proactively identify project risks, scheduling conflicts, and operational challenges, implementing corrective actions to minimize project impacts.
  • Troubleshoot project issues and drive timely resolution, escalating concerns only when appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact by providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate activities between customers, vendors, field teams, installation partners, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support field teams during active remodels and installations by responding to urgent issues, schedule changes, labor challenges, or material shortages.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate daily, weekly, and executive-level project status reports highlighting progress, risks, mitigation plans, and key milestones.
  • Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve execution, communication, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Mentor project team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, large-scale programs, or multi-site deployments from planning through execution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and competing demands simultaneously.
  • Experience utilizing Smartsheet or comparable project management software to track project progress, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify risks, solve problems, and drive project execution with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting project updates to customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations while building strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal business partners.
  • Experience supporting field operations during active installations and responding effectively to changing project conditions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently as a trusted extension of leadership while driving accountability across project teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing retail remodels, grand openings, fixture installations, branded environments, or construction-related projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management credentials are preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed field teams and third-party vendors.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $85,000- $95,000 per year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
