Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Project Manager for general aviation and non-hub airports in the United States. You will manage FAA and State DOT projects, oversee grant processes, and ensure design and construction meet federal and state standards.

Join a global engineering leader delivering complex infrastructure programs. This role emphasizes coordination across disciplines, adherence to master plans, and timely, on-budget project delivery in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering.
• P.E. preferred or ability to obtain within the first year.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Faarfield.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Management of portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out to meet project goals on time and on budget.
• Compliance with objectives contained within the individual airport master plans, federal grant assurances, FAA and state design standards, and a project scope of work.
• Knowledge and application of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings.
• Development of contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordination of engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Accurate daily time keeping

Job Description

The Project Manager will work on general aviation and non-hub commercial service airports. Projects include federal andstate funded airport improvement programs as well as locally funded projects at public and private use airports.
