Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA, seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee design and analysis of operating plant NSSS modifications and support operating plants, reporting to the Project Director - SNC. This hybrid role requires two days in the Cranberry office each week.

You will lead project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects, guide cost estimates, and coordinate with customers, internal teams, and partners to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a project manager in low to moderate construction or nuclear projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.
• Experience in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.

• Lead project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects or a portfolio of lower complexity projects.
• Support proposal processes for upcoming opportunities.
• Oversee cost estimates and offers for plant modifications and guide customer negotiations.
• Develop project management plans with scope, schedule, cost baselines, and risk registers per WPMR.
• Coordinate acquiring team members and manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications and partners.

About The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the Americas ESS - Long-term Operations, where we support the design and analysis of operating plant NSSS modifications and support operating plants.

You will report to the Project Director - SNC and be located at our Cranberry, PA location. This is a hybrid work schedule that will require you to be in the Cranberry office 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects or a portfolio of lower complexity projects, leading medium-sized teams (average 10-30 team members).
• Support proposal process upcoming opportunities, as assigned.
• Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications. Guide customer negotiations.
• Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project management plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines as well as, risk and registers per the Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR).
• Based on project management plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work.
• Manage and integrate all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to departments following an integrated change management process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a project manager are required. This experience should be in leading and directing low to moderate construction or nuclear complex projects to successful completion. Alternatively, 3 years of project management and 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.
• Experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $127,800 per year.
