Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee technology initiatives across its IT organization. This individual will be responsible for coordinating projects from planning through completion, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and accountable throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an individual contributor position that requires a seasoned IT project management professional who can navigate competing priorities, work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and keep projects moving forward in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing software implementations, technology rollouts, and decommissioning initiatives, along with strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, including software rollouts, technology implementations, and system decommissioning.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and documentation.
• Coordinate with IT managers, Product Owners, vendors, Information Governance, practice groups, and operations teams.
• Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address risks and delays.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure stakeholders consistently update project management tools.
• Hold project stakeholders accountable for deadlines, deliverables, and agreed-upon commitments.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while maintaining clear communication and alignment.
• Support project delivery within an Agile environment and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Work with vendors and Product Owners to coordinate implementation activities and project milestones.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of relevant IT project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Demonstrated experience managing IT projects, software implementations, technology rollouts, and system decommissioning.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Strong vendor management, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience working within Agile project management environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate different working styles, and hold stakeholders accountable while maintaining productive relationships.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred.

Preferred Background

Experience in a law firm, legal technology, IT consulting, financial services, or another enterprise technology environment is beneficial. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Monday.com is a plus, particularly for project tracking, milestone management, and stakeholder coordination.
