Job summary

Insight Global is supporting a leading HVAC and piping company in Boise, Idaho, seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Major Projects Group. Lead complex industrial programs from initiation to closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

You will coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities across internal and external teams, driving execution and continuous improvement while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience in industrial/utilities/construction environments.
• CAPEX projects valued at $10M+.
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience with EPC, design-build, or similar delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple industrial projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Be primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal leadership.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and company policy compliance.
• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
• Manage change orders, contracts, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
• Mentor junior project managers and team members.

Insight Global is supporting a leading company within the HVAC and piping industry in the search for a Senior Project Manager to support its Major Projects Group. This individual will play a critical leadership role overseeing complex, large-scale industrial projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving execution across engineering, procurement, and construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors
• Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
• Manage change orders, contract administration, and documentation
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and best practices
• Mentor and support junior project managers and project team members
