Job summary

Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Manager, Project Management to lead multiple medium-scale projects by collaborating with sponsors and teams to deliver effective solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

You will create detailed project plans, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure adherence to PM standards while building strong relationships and mentoring associates for continuous improvement and measurable business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area.
• 1 year’s experience working in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on program requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess costs, establish return on investment, and secure management approval for resource allocation.
• Create and execute communication plans detailing frequency, level, and distribution of project status updates.
• Manage multiple medium-scale projects by developing and communicating detailed project plans and schedules to teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, identify risks and changes, and elevate issues as needed to maintain project goals.
• Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to associates, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
