Job summary

SB Energy, a SoftBank Group-backed company headquartered in Redwood City, California, seeks a Senior Program Manager, Project Logistics to lead domestic movement of high-value equipment through delivery. This role focuses on project cargo, heavy haul, and final mile, coordinating with Control Tower and Storage/Site teams.

Based in Redwood City, CA, the position sits within the Data Center Supply Chain team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in transportation or project-logistics operations for high-value, long-lead equipment.
• Experience directing transport providers and coordinating OEM readiness, domestic handoff, warehouse interfaces.
• Strong written and verbal communication with evidence-based recommendations and escalation.
• Domestic project-logistics experience including heavy haul, permits, escorts, and final mile.
• Knowledge of transport-incident investigation, claims tracking, and recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Build domestic movement plans linked to equipment and PO records.
• Direct qualified providers for route surveys, permits, escorts, and load plans.
• Authorize domestic dispatch after OEM handoff and readiness checks.
• Direct execution and recovery, addressing delays and capacity gaps.
• Manage forwarders, carriers and logistics providers under approved agreements.
• Own transport-incident investigations and claims tracking; coordinate settlements.
