Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lead Project Manager for our Salt Lake City, UT office, with consideration for Helena, MT; Phoenix, AZ; and Lakewood, CO. You will lead mining, mineral processing, and heavy industrial projects across North America, driving delivery, safety, and client satisfaction.

You will oversee cross‑functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and develop initiation documents while mentoring engineers and planners to uphold WSP standards and conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant mining/industrial project mgmt experience.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery in AEC industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for mining, mineral processing, metals, and industrial projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget; ensure safety, quality, and profitability.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across disciplines.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
• Develop and update project initiation/setup documents and closeout activities.
