Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering or related field.
• PE license a plus.
• 10+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
• Experience mentoring and managing others.
• Business development/heavy client interaction a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight in client management, procedural issues, financial and reporting issues, and workforce planning.
• Actively manage workload, professional development, and client development skills of project management staff.
• Promote positive customer relations with contractors, subcontractors and vendors, emphasizing safety, quality, and profitability.
• Initiate, execute, and document project startup meetings for projects.
• Manage and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships, including timely payments.
• Perform monthly project reviews to monitor schedules, quality, safety, administration and profitability.
• Coordinate issue resolution and customer change orders.
• Represent the company/project in client and subcontractor meetings; attend senior management meetings.
• Schedule, facilitate, and document project closeout meetings.
