Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. seeks a Lead Project Manager in New York to direct medium to complex projects from inception to deployment.

You will manage scope, budget, schedule and risks, coordinate IT and non-IT resources, and partner with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Strong communication, leadership, and formal PM training are essential. PMP preferred and experience with Waterfall or Agile is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred; formal project management training required.
• 7+ years of project management responsibility across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project (or Smartsheets).
• Strong executive presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, risk and resources.
• Familiarity with Waterfall or Agile SDLC.
• Knowledge of cable industry or customer experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage project: scope, cost, schedule, risk, resources and communications.
• Coordinate IT and non-IT resources to deliver on-time, within budget.
• Develop implementation timetables and monitor project performance.
• Serve as liaison with company resources to provide current data.
• Research procedures to enhance financial and operational efficiencies.
• Track expenses and report status to managers.
• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple business groups.
• Prepare RFPs and conduct meetings for selecting services/products.
• Facilitate written communications and presentations.
