Job summary

MVE + Partners seeks a Project Lead in Irvine to manage the preparation and coordination of complete construction document sets for multifamily residential and mixed-use projects. With 7-9 years of experience, you will own documentation quality and coordinate with consultants, reporting to Project Managers and Principals.

You will lead production staff, mentor juniors, ensure code compliance (CBC, Title 24, ADA), and drive project delivery from design development through permit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 7–9 years of professional architecture office experience with full construction documents.
• Multi-family residential and mixed-use project experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to lead production teams and coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own preparation, review, and quality control of complete construction document sets across all project phases.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other consultant disciplines; resolve conflicts.
• Apply knowledge of CBC, Title 24, ADA, IBC, and building codes to ensure documents are accurate and code-compliant.
• Demonstrate expert-level detailing of building systems and construction standards; review project specifications with PMs.
• Lead or oversee production staff and mentor junior designers; ensure deliverables meet firm standards.
