Job summary

Prime Partners in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Ignition Specialist (PLC) to design, develop, integrate, and commission enterprise-grade SCADA and automation systems for critical infrastructure.

You will lead Ignition projects using Perspective/Vision, perform Python/Jython scripting, SQL integration, and PLC programming (Rockwell). Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in SCADA and industrial automation.
• Hands-on Ignition experience required.
• PLC programming experience, preferably Rockwell.
• Strong SQL, Python/Jython, networking, and commissioning skills.
• Data center or mission-critical project experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA applications using Perspective, Vision, UDTs, Tags, Templates, Alarms, Historian, and Reporting.
• Perform Python/Jython scripting and SQL database integration.
• Integrate Ignition with PLCs using OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet/IP.
• Program and troubleshoot Rockwell ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PlantPAx systems.
• Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, and field teams.
