Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Project Geologist to join our hybrid team in Northern California. You will lead environmental investigations, groundwater assessments, and remediation planning for diverse clients and work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience providing environmental consulting services including subsurface investigations and written reports.
• Experience with GIS for creating digital maps and representations.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills; ability to meet client needs and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage environmental investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, and related evaluations for diverse clients.
• Meet with clients and regulatory agencies (EPA, DTSC, RWQCB) and coordinate with field teams.
• Write and review remedial documents and reports, design remedial solutions, and produce GIS-based maps and figures.
• Mentor, train, and oversee junior staff; ensure safety, quality, and compliance with scope, budget, and schedule.
