Job summary

Broadbent & Associates, Inc. of Reno, Nevada is hiring a Project Geologist II or Project Environmental Scientist II to oversee a wide variety of complex environmental projects in Nevada and California.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including a bonus program and 100% medical insurance coverage. You will work under the Division Manager, perform field visits, prepare plans and reports for regulatory agencies, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field.
Five or more years of experience in geological assessments, water supply/treatment, environmental assessments, permitting projects, or related areas.
Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification or ability to attain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Prepare and review proposals for new clientele with regulatory agencies.
Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects and manage them within budget.
Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure safety procedures.
Review and approve supplier work proposals and invoices.
Evaluate/interpret data and prepare detailed reports.
Assist with marketing and business development.
Mentor junior staff to aid professional development.
