Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology or related field required.
• Five+ years of experience in geological assessments or related environmental work.
• Consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations; interacting with agencies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with timelines and budgets.
• CEM or PG certification or eligibility within one year of hire.
• Ability to travel within the western US.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review work plans, technical documents, and reports for regulatory agencies.
• Develop and review proposals for federal, state, and local clients.
• Define scoping for environmental assessment and remediation projects and manage within budget.
• Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure health and safety procedures.
• Review supplier work proposals and invoices; interpret data and prepare detailed reports.
• Assist with marketing and business development; mentor junior staff.
