Job summary
Aquatech is seeking a high-caliber project finance professional to join our Development (DevCo) team in Houston, TX (hybrid). You will turn early-stage BOO opportunities into bankable projects, building robust financial models, optimizing capital structures, and engaging lenders and equity partners.
The role requires 8–10 years in project finance, with expertise in complex tolling, EPC/O&M, tax incentives, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of project finance experience in investment banking, infrastructure funds, or infra-backed platforms.
- Strong focus on BOO/BOT/P3 structures, financial modelling, capital structuring, and investor/lender engagement.
Responsibilities
- Build robust, audit-ready project finance models for multiple projects.
- Structure debt/equity mixes and optimize tax, incentives, and financing mechanics.
- Produce decision-quality materials for Internal Committee, lenders, tax advisors and co-investors.
- Lead the financial workstream through due diligence, term sheet negotiations, and closing.
- Provide light asset management support to track performance and inform refinancing/ equity recycling.
- Develop investment memoranda and lender/investor decks; translate modelling outputs into clear narratives.
- Support portfolio & performance analytics and refinancing decisions.
