Job summary

Adams Electric Company is seeking a Project Executive to lead hyperscale datacenter electrical builds in the Charlotte, NC area. The role requires full performance responsibility for complex projects, from design through completion, ensuring quality, safety, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.

You will collaborate with PreConstruction, VDC/BIM, and field teams to optimize profitability, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive project leadership experience in large-scale electrical buildouts.

Responsibilities

• Full performance responsibility for a project, including financial oversight, safety, quality, schedule, and owner satisfaction.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, major package buyouts, terms, and relations; manage project documentation and risk.
• Establish budget controls and responsibility for profits and losses; evaluate and approve change proposals.
• Coordinate with PreConstruction and VDC/BIM to ensure profitability and correct scheduling; resolve design conflicts.
• Lead BIM/VDC meetings, review 3D models, and coordinate with trades before field deployment.
• Collaborate on PreFabric coordination with BIM, GCs, and other trades; drive early design feasibility.
• Implement safety and quality programs; develop site-specific commissioning and LOTO processes.
• Mentor and lead project team members; strengthen client relationships through high-quality delivery.
