Job summary

The Fordy Group is seeking a Project Executive in the Atlanta area to lead our Utility Construction Division. This senior role oversees major heavy civil and underground utility projects, ensuring safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and high standards of delivery.

You will provide strategic direction across multiple projects, collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, and leadership, and drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a construction-related field.
• 10+ years of heavy civil or utility construction experience required.
• Experience leading multiple PMs and large project teams preferred.
• PMP certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight and strategic direction across multiple heavy civil and utility projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
• Maintain accountability for project financial performance, forecasting, scheduling, and execution.
• Establish project objectives, priorities, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Review project financials, cost reports, forecasts, and earned value to identify risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee staffing, resource allocation, and manpower requirements.
• Support preconstruction, estimating, and business development efforts.
