Job summary

Recru in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Project Execution Manager to drive end-to-end service project execution, aligning with budgets and customer expectations. The role acts as liaison among engineering, finance, stakeholders, and customers, leveraging procurement and project management to deliver outcomes.

You will own project plans, schedules, risk mitigation, and governance, while coordinating cross-functional teams and monitoring KPIs and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in project management or technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own OTR ownership of all Services projects
• Lead procurement and requisition projects from planning through execution
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies with technical leads
• Monitor performance, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery objectives
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and governance processes
• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications
• Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while maintaining operational effectiveness
• Own project KPIs, dashboards, and reporting, measuring performance against timelines, budgets, quality standards, and key metrics
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned

Senior Project Execution Manager leads end-to-end project execution for the Service business, ensuring timely delivery that meets customer expectations and aligns with organizational processes, budgets, and objectives. The role serves as a key liaison among engineering, finance, stakeholders, and customers, combining procurement expertise with strong project management to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own OTR ownership of all Services projects

• Lead procurement and requisition projects from planning through execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies with technical leads

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or similar industry

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in project management or technical leadership

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple stakeholders

• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources

Preferred Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent certification

• CPSM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or related procurement/process improvement certification

• Experience leading process improvement or system implementation projects

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management tools

• Experience in controls/software development or design
