Qualifications

• 5+ years in project estimating
• Experience with utility-scale energy projects including renewable energy, power generation, and transmission infrastructure
• Experience with value engineering principles and practices
• Experience with construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Experience with industry standards and best practices in project estimating and cost management
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates for conceptual, preliminary, and definitive stages
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather specs and prepare estimates
• Perform value engineering analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Develop and maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for uncertainties
• Present cost estimates and VE options to senior management and clients
