Job summary

Johns Manville in Littleton, CO is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead JM's largest, most complex projects. You will plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, assign resources, and ensure goals are met while coordinating with plant managers and business leaders.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 10 years of industrial/manufacturing experience, strong PM skills, leadership, and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, electrical or mechanical) with a minimum of 10 years engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong project management skills for $40M+ projects.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience negotiating and managing change.
• Willingness to travel 30%-60%.

Responsibilities

• Execute investment projects with budgets up to $150M following the CPP process.
• Develop and present project feasibility studies and business cases.
• Estimate costs, schedules, and resources; drive options to optimal solutions.
• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and contractors; oversee external resources.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance in all design work.
• Provide training to maintenance and operations staff.
• Mentor and coach project staff and less experienced engineers.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate status to management.
