Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI)—in its Water Group—seeks a Civil Engineer with PE to work on water and wastewater design projects in Illinois.

The role emphasizes planning, design, and construction oversight for water supply, water treatment, and wastewater facilities, as well as I/I studies. Candidates should have a BS in Civil Engineering, 5–7 years of related experience, a PE license, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of design and construction experience on water and wastewater systems.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams.
• Report to a group’s Project Manager and senior management.
• Prepare water and wastewater system reports.
• Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities.

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated engineer to work in its Water Group. The Water Group has a significant backlog of projects, including a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams


• Report to a group’s Project Manager and high-level management


• Prepare water and wastewater system reports


• Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities


• Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering


• Have a minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems


• Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• A valid driver’s license
