Textron Systems is seeking a motivated Project Engineer in Hunt Valley, MD to support full lifecycle development of air and ground robotics products. The role emphasizes hardware/software integration, requirements derivation, and strong ownership of design efforts in a collaborative team.

You will work with program management to manage schedules and budgets, lead cross-disciplinary teams, and engage with management and customers on advanced technical studies. A Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; graduate degree desired.
• 8+ years of related experience in engineering programs.
• Experience in systems architectures and concepts of operations.
• Experience in program planning, control account management, and risk management.
• Experience in leading internal and external programmatic and technical reviews.
• Experience in proposal processes and basis of estimate reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Program Management to control schedule and budget.
• Resolve schedule, resource, and technical conflicts.
• Lead multidiscipline teams through complex problems and provide solutions.
• Delegate key tasks with functional managers.
• Advise management and customers on advanced technical studies.
• Chair or delegate change control board activities.
• Assess risk and approve Test Readiness Reviews.
• Develop discretionary funding plans for program needs.
• Provide recommendations on risk acceptance to senior management.
• Develop proposals and basis of estimates for new opportunities.
• Manage system configurations and bills of materials.
• Deliver program technical CDRLs.
• Travel up to 15%.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret Clearance eligibility required.
