Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Fall River, MA is seeking a Senior Specialist, Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary design teams from concept through completion. You will guide technical, schedule, and cost execution across development, production, and IRAD programs, partnering with Program Management, Engineering, and manufacturing to meet customer needs and program commitments.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in customer meetings, design reviews, and proposals, with travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years without degree.
• 1+ year leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• 1+ year as Technical Lead on development or production program.
• 1+ year hands-on with autonomous vehicles or related ocean/undersea systems.
• Experience with DoD development/production programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical, schedule, and cost execution of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with program management, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers for project execution.
• Monitor status, milestones, risks, and plans and report to stakeholders.
• Develop and report project schedules, budgets, and earned value metrics.
• Ensure contractual obligations and quality expectations are met through collaboration.
