L3Harris Technologies in Fall River, MA is seeking a Senior Specialist Project Engineer to lead technical, schedule, and cost execution across multidisciplinary teams for NPD, production and IRAD programs. You will partner with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing to drive from concept to completion while meeting customer needs and program commitments.

This role requires a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with years of experience, ability to travel up to 10%, and potential to obtain a US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years related experience, or Graduate Degree with 4+ years
• At least 1 year leading multi-disciplined teams in an engineering environment.
• At least 1 year of experience as Technical Lead on a development or production program.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles including development/deployment or sea testing.
• Experience with ocean engineering and undersea vehicles/operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical, schedule, and cost execution of engineering projects.
• Coordinate across PM, Engineering, Manufacturing, suppliers, and customers for project execution.
• Monitor and report project status, milestones, risks, opportunities, and plans to management.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, plans, budgets, and EVMS metrics.
• Ensure contractual obligations, baselines, cost, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership in customer meetings, technical presentations, and design reviews.
• Support proposals and new business through cost estimates and WBS development.
• Drive compliance with procedures and implement process, product, and system improvements.
• Contribute to strategic and operational goals by developing new processes, standards, and solutions.
• Able to travel up to 10% as needed.
• Able to analyze technical issues and support development, integration, test, and production activities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance if required.
