Facade People seeks a Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in Texas. You will perform structural design and oversee projects through approval, manufacturing, and installation, focusing on the custom fabrication of structural glass and façade systems.

This full-time onsite role offers learning opportunities, professional growth, and the chance to work on complex glass and metal façade projects with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• P.E. and/or S.E. registration, or ability to gain licensure.
• 8–10+ years of experience with structural design of façade/enclosure systems.
• In-depth knowledge of AISC, IBC, ASCE 7.
• Experience with SAP2000, STAAD, RISA-3D; FEA tools like Abaqus/ANSYS.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze plans for complex support structures and building envelopes.
• Design cable, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and glass structures using calculations and codes.
• Lead calculation package development for façades per project specs.
• Collaborate with design team on submittals and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop design concepts with Engineering Manager.
