Job summary
LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the technical development and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects across North America. The role involves coordinating engineering activities from development through construction for solar PV, BESS, and wind projects.
Responsibilities include leading engineering efforts, coordinating studies, liaising between teams, and supporting procurement and construction activities. Office-based with periodic travel across NA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience supporting renewable energy projects.
- 2+ years in a Project Engineer role.
- Experience with utility-scale solar, battery storage, and/or wind projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead preliminary engineering for collection systems, substations, transmission lines, and civil/electrical infrastructure.
- Coordinate technical studies including geotechnical investigations and power system analyses.
- Manage external engineering consultants and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Support EPC procurement, including RFP development and contractor evaluations.
