Job summary

Pape‑Dawson's Tennessee office in Franklin, TN is seeking a full-time PE licensed Project Engineer to lead civil site project design, production, and client coordination on residential and commercial developments.

You will work with civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to obtain entitlements, permitting, and compliance, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and adhering to schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years in land/site development experience.
• Active Tennessee PE or reciprocity within 6 months.
• Experience with site design, entitlements and permitting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of green infrastructure and LID.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations and construction plans for site development.
• Code, entitlements, and due diligence research.
• Analyze survey plans and data to design projects.
• Coordinate with state, local, and federal jurisdictions for permitting.
• Create designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors on project delivery.
