Job summary

AspenTech in Medina, Minnesota is seeking a Sr Project Engineer to lead technical delivery for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using the Monarch platform. You will manage a high‑performing team, design and test hardware and software per project specs, and coordinate with customers and stakeholders across geographies.

Required: 6+ years experience with 2+ in leadership, a B.S. in EE or related field, and strong SCADA/database/ networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience, with 2+ years of experience in managing a team.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Experience with SCADA systems, database creation, configuration of web platforms, knowledge of enterprise historians, testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, SQL database, ODBC and report generation.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, databases and operating systems.
• Understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables).

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
• Provide networking and system/application design.
• Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, Web platform, High speed Historian, and other related functionalities.
• Document and track progress of project activities and report any technical issues.
• Provide Subject-matter expert support to Solutions / Proposals team to bring out competitive advantage of AspenTech in tenders.
