Job summary

Long Wall Company in California is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to drive rapid engineering and integration for the RSX target vehicle, coordinating cross‑functional teams and aligning schedules with technical baselines.

The role partners with chief engineering, systems engineering, and mission assurance to protect technical integrity while sustaining development velocity in a private‑investment environment with government testing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of engineering project management or related experience.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day internal execution of the RSX target vehicle development.
• Maintain detailed internal schedules and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage internal priorities and development flow with technical rigor.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager to support internal/external commitments.
• Facilitate technical decision flow with documentation of changes and plans.
• Work with discipline leads to resolve roadblocks and accelerate hardware development.
• Support integration and test operations with timely artifacts and verification plans.
• Track and communicate internal risks and dependencies; support risk management.
• Maintain alignment with systems engineering requirements and verification flows.
• Support chief engineering to keep activities aligned with baseline and reliability.
• Help build scalable project management processes for future programs.
