Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Melbourne, FL team. You will support the development and delivery of RF hardware, firmware, and software, driving schedules, coordinating resources, tracking execution, and managing budgets in a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of project management experience taking products into production; master’s degree and Lean/Six Sigma certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience bringing products into production.
• Experience with full product lifecycle including NPI, ramp, sustaining, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to translate high-level direction into actionable engineering guidance.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
• Experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma to manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans with schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects through the product lifecycle.
• Lead NPI through production ramp, sustainment, and end-of-life.
• Serve as primary technical contact for stakeholders and customers.
• Translate requirements into actionable direction for manufacturing and operations.
• Coordinate BOM lead times and release schedules.
