Hydrasearch is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Stevensville, MD to accelerate engineering development for aerospace and defense programs. This hands-on role focuses on solving complex problems, coordinating rapid development cycles, and transitioning designs to production.

You will contribute across initiatives, translating concepts into executable work while maintaining urgency and ownership. Veterans are encouraged to apply, with domestic and international travel possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product environments.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and lifecycle understanding.
• Structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience bringing projects from concept through implementation.
• Ownership mindset and accountability for results.
• Ability to move quickly with limited information.
• Travel may be required domestically and internationally.
