Job summary

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with proven performance in the structural design of precast concrete structures. You will lead a team of engineers and detailers, ensuring quality deliverables for large commercial projects.

The role requires PE licensure, 10+ years of experience, and strong communication to coordinate with architects, clients and contractors. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis, or Architectural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Structural engineering of precast/concrete products for large commercial buildings.
• Prepare and check engineering calculations, drawings, and details.
• Coordinate with clients (architects, engineers, GC) and review drawings.
• Deliverables and deadlines within project teams.
• Quality control to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables.
• Assist with project management from setup through construction administration.

Job description

A Senior Project Engineer has proven performance in the Structural Design of precast concrete structures. This role is responsible for leadership of a team of structural design engineers and Revit modelers/detailers.

Responsibilities include,butare not limited to:

• Structural engineering of pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete products and connections for large commercial buildings such as stadiums/arenas, parking garages, office buildings, warehouses, etc.
• Preparing and/or checking of engineering calculations, structural drawings and details
• Checking of drawings, coordination with clients (architects, other engineers, general contractors)
• Working as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines
• Providing quality control/ quality assurance to ensure deliverables are high quality andon-time
• Assisting with all aspects of project management from project set-upthrough design and into construction administration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degreeinCivil Engineering with Structural Emphasis, or Architectural Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• 10+ yearsof experience inthe structural design of pre-cast concrete multi-level parking or other commercial structures.
• Technical skills must be at the level in which individuals can execute assignments independently
• Must have strong working knowledge of Autocad. Working knowledge of Revit a plus.
• Must possess the communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective project team collaboration and relationship building.
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Willing and able to adapt as necessary to support changing business needs.
