Burrow Global, LLC is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer / Project Manager for a 12-month assignment in Memphis, TN.

You will plan, execute, and finalize capital projects within the site, coordinating with engineering, operations, procurement, and construction teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires a strong background in project management and engineering in a chemical plant environment, with familiarity in OSHA/EPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in project management or engineering in a chemical plant or similar industrial setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Proven track record of delivering small to medium capital projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital projects from concept to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, budgets, resources, and risk strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical evaluations for proposed projects.
• Prepare and present proposals, progress reports, and final project documentation to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage contractors and vendors to ensure quality and adherence to specs.
• Work closely with plant operating teams and be proactive in plant environment to drive improvements.
