Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Winchester Plant seeks a Project Engineer, Associate Manager to direct engineering projects and lead a team of engineers. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution to meet objectives while applying TQM principles and driving quality improvements.

You will develop project scopes, cost estimates, and capital plans; manage contractors; and support production with technical solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across packaging and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of full cycle project engineering experience.
• Strong background in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Solid communication and presentation skills for factory staff.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory documents.
• Flexible schedule including days, afternoons, midnights and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise engineers and technicians to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare specifications, designs, and technical plans; oversee testing and validation.
• Coordinate with departments on scheduling, costs, and technical issues.
• Develop cost controls, budgets, and capital expenditure requests.
• Provide technical support to factories to reduce downtime and improve quality.
• Apply engineering principles to packaging methods and process improvements.
• Manage contractors and vendors; ensure safety and compliance.
