Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago seeks an experienced project manager with a mechanical/electrical systems background to lead capital projects. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and coordinate studies, design, specifications, testing, and reporting.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5–7 years of full-cycle project management, travel up to 75%, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited school.
5-7 years of full cycle project management experience.
Strong background in mechanical and hydraulic systems, packaging methods, electronics and electrical systems.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and meet objectives.
Complete phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, design, specifications and testing.
Coordinate activities on technical developments, scheduling, and problem resolution.
Control expenditures within the project budget.
Prepare interim and completion project reports.
Provide functional and technical support to factories to minimize production and maintenance problems.
Apply engineering expertise to equipment design, problems solving, and quality improvement.
Support PRC and key projects as technical advisor or project manager.
Adhere to TQM principles to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
