Job summary

RimePro is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join its San Diego construction team. You will support large-scale, ground-up multifamily projects and collaborate closely with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout construction.

This role offers a path toward Project Management, leveraging your multifamily construction background to drive successful project outcomes on local developments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Project Engineer or related construction experience

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project execution
• Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and drawing coordination
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, change orders, and cost tracking
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, design teams, and ownership
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and coordination issues
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and field coordination
• Assist with quality control and resolution of project issues
• Support project closeout, turnover documentation, and final completion
• Maintain accurate project records and communication across the project team

Summary

A growing multifamily builder is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join its San Diego construction team. This role will support large-scale, ground-up multifamily projects, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout construction.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer with a background in multifamily construction who wants to work on substantial local projects and continue progressing toward Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project execution
• Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and drawing coordination
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, change orders, and cost tracking
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, design teams, and ownership
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and coordination issues
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and field coordination
• Assist with quality control and resolution of project issues
• Support project closeout, turnover documentation, and final completion
• Maintain accurate project records and communication across the project team

Requirements

• 5 years of Project Engineer or related construction experience
• Strong ground-up multifamily construction experience required
• Experience supporting larger-scale multifamily projects preferred
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, buyout, and project documentation
• Bluebeam and Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
