Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Dallas is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to bridge on-site construction and project management leadership on mission-critical projects.

You will own key administration tasks and progressively take more project responsibility on large-scale, technically complex programs. You will support budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation while coordinating with subs, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of commercial construction project engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs, and PM fundamentals.
• Experience with Procore and Building Connected is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist Project Manager in project administration from pre-construction to closeout.
• Lead management of project documentation: RFIs, submittals, minutes.
• Help prepare status reports for stakeholders and internal teams.
• Assist in budgeting and tracking job costs and labor productivity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to resolve issues.
• Assist in developing the project schedule and lead jobsite coordination meetings.
• Lead punch list and final closeout documentation.

Job Description:Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team!Ryan Companies is seeking a high-potential Senior Project Engineer to join our Mission Critical team. This role is the critical link between the on-site construction team and the project management leadership. The Senior Project Engineer will take ownership of key project administration tasks and manage specific phases of the construction process with increasing autonomy. This position is designed for an individual with foundational construction experience who is eager to develop their project management skills on large-scale, technically complex projects. It is a direct career path to a Project Manager role.Some things you can expect to do:Assist the Project Manager in the overall administration of the project, from pre-construction to closeout.Take a lead role in managing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.Help prepare and maintain project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.Assist in preparing and controlling the project budget by actively tracking job costs and labor productivity.Help prepare detailed bid documents and participate in the subcontractor buyout and negotiation process.Process and track change orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.Serve as a key point of contact for subcontractors, architects, and engineers to resolve day-to-day technical issues.Assist the Superintendent in developing and managing the project schedule to ensure milestones are met.Participate in and help lead jobsite coordination meetings, contributing to problem-solving and planning.Champion Ryan’s \"Safety First\" culture and assist in ensuring the highest standards of quality control.Take the lead in managing the project punch list process to ensure a timely and successful completion.Assist in the compilation of all final closeout documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the commercial construction industry.
