Job summary

Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH, seeks a senior Project Engineer to lead RAM efforts in microelectronics assurance. The role focuses on strategic R&D leadership, contract development and execution, and portfolio oversight to meet DoD requirements.

The incumbent will coordinate with branch leadership, external programs, and internal stakeholders to deliver protective technologies for the warfighter, briefing senior leaders on progress and policy-compliant

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is required.
Top Secret clearance with SCI access eligibility.
At least 1 year of specialized microelectronics or related experience at DR-2 or equivalent.
Must meet OPM qualifications as per linked standards.
APDP Level 2 Practitioner with 60 months to complete requirements.
Graduate degree in microelectronics is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead technology partners to develop R&D strategies for microelectronics assurance.
Lead RAM contracts and microelectronics research efforts.
Manage portfolio execution per AFRL/RF and external requirements.
Coordinate between branch leadership and external programs to deliver protective tech.
Brief senior leaders on programmatic and technical status.
Ensure projects meet cost, schedule, performance, and security objectives.
