Job summary

Malibu Boats in Tennessee seeks a Project Engineer II to manage a diverse portfolio within Marine Components, leading full-cycle projects, performing hands-on mechanical design, and driving manufacturing improvements.

You will coordinate with engineering and production teams, develop quotes and plans, schedule reviews, manage prototypes, and support business development while delivering safe, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an engineer/designer; 7+ years is a plus.
• CPM, PE, or other professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project schedules with suppliers and customers to meet milestones.
• Develop product quotes and manufacturing plans, including tooling and production requirements.
• Drive innovation with new ideas and solutions to technical and project challenges.
• Coordinate with leadership and engineering teams to maintain accurate project timelines.
• Schedule and lead project review meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Oversee prototypes, pre-production, and sample builds, including BOM creation and EC changes.
• Perform CAD modeling, drawings, design reviews, and GD&T conformance.
