Job summary

The Beck Group is hiring a Senior Project Engineer in Fort Lauderdale to support construction projects through effective project management, scheduling, and coordination of drawings, RFI logs, and submittals. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of field construction experience, proficiency with Excel and Procore, and familiarity with LEED/Green Building processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years minimum of relevant construction experience.
• Thorough understanding of project documents and local building codes.
• Experience using Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and have thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
• Assemble monthly reports, the Zero Accident plan, and the Quality Assurance plan.
• Develop and maintain submittals, drawings, specifications, and RFI logs.
• Assist the project team in updating the construction schedule and weekly updates.
• Participate in Lean Principles throughout the project lifecycle.
• Directly involved with project closeout, receipt of documents, and final report.
• Organize and submit documentation for Green Building or LEED certification.
