Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an engineering professional to plan and manage complex construction and infrastructure projects in Rock Hill, SC.

The role focuses on budgeting, scheduling, labor planning, change management, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will coordinate design development, field inspections, and project documentation while maintaining detailed records and delivering on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program).
• 3+ years of experience with a Master of Science in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning and maintaining project budget and schedule.
• Planning and maintaining manpower forecasts in relation to budget and schedule.
• Planning and monitoring cash flow against cash expenses.
• Establishing labor and productivity rates.
• Identifying value added solutions and cost saving methods.
• Pricing, tracking and managing change orders.
• Maintaining as‑builts as work is completed.
• Documenting project issues/conditions.
• Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
• Submitting hours and cost codes.
• Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
