Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with at least 5 years of commercial construction experience for projects in our core markets. You will work with the project team to manage schedules, cost control, documentation, and subcontractor coordination.

The role emphasizes safety, mentoring staff, and enforcing contracts while supporting the superintendent and project manager in successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a project engineer.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency with CMiC/Prolog, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety plans and weekly safety audits.
• Mentor and develop project engineer team members.
• Manage and direct project engineer staff and tasks.
• Understand and enforce contracts with DPR, subcontractors and owners.
• Assist superintendent and PM in project execution and policy implementation.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and control documents.
• Distribute drawings, submittals, RFIs and change orders to stakeholders.
• Record and archive project documentation for easy access.
• Support cost control and owner invoicing processes.
