Job summary

Haselden Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. You will independently manage key project-engineering functions on complex commercial projects while partnering with the Project Manager, Superintendent, design team, subcontractors, and other project partners.

As a mentor to Project Engineers and interns, you will drive project coordination, documentation, procurement, and quality.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of progressive construction experience with a general contractor or similar organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant industry experience may be considered.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and other construction-management applications is preferred.
• Ability to mentor and support the development of Project Engineers and interns.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage project-engineering responsibilities for assigned scopes.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, change documentation, project logs, and other key project information.
• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in maintaining project schedules and key milestones.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Project Engineers and interns.
