Atwell, LLC, a national leader in land development and civil/site engineering, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to manage transformative projects from entitlement through construction, with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater systems in the Newark, DE area.

The role blends engineering excellence with client engagement, permitting strategy, and collaboration across offices on a hybrid schedule, leveraging your ABET-accredited degree and PE licensure to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET/EAC accredited university.
• PE licensure is required.
• Delaware experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to design water/wastewater and drainage systems.
• Oversee projects from entitlements to construction completion.
• Handle multiple permitting entitlements across agencies with local knowledge.
• Develop and implement permitting strategies to meet deadlines for developments.
• Engage with clients and government entities to grow the business.
• Deliver high-quality projects and ensure client satisfaction.
