Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Project Engineer in Arvada, CO to manage projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate engineering design, procurement, document control, project controls, construction, and QA/QC while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires 4–10 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Hybrid in-office schedule with travel and a Target Salary Range noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 4–10 years of project engineering experience.
• PE Registration is preferred but not required.
• Experience coordinating multidiscipline project teams to deliver multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Integrates all disciplines to ensure the project is aligned technically and commercially.
• Ensure technical requirements are incorporated in engineering deliverables.
• Collaborates with Project Controls on scheduling, estimating, cost management, and staffing.
• Maintains accurate and current project documentation with document control.
• Participates in technical reviews and client meetings.
• Lead design development meetings including constructability reviews and 3D model reviews.
• Coordinate preparation, review, and approval of engineering design reports.
• Act as responsible engineer for projects you lead.
• Oversee review of equipment technical bid submissions.
• Report to Project Manager on budget and schedule for engineering tasks.
• Reinforce quality and safety standards in work products.
