Job summary

RecruitPod Global LLC in Lewistown, PA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead major capital projects at a large-scale, high-speed manufacturing facility. You will oversee planning, procurement, installation, startup, and validation to meet ambitious production goals.

The role requires strong vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule, with experience in process improvements and GMP/ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading capital projects in a process manufacturing environment.
• Experience with procurement, installation, startup, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of equipment procurement and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead major capital projects from concept through procurement, installation, startup, and validation.
• Develop technical, commercial, and financial recommendations for equipment investments.
• Manage capital equipment procurement and supplier/vendor relationships.
• Coordinate installation activities across engineering, maintenance, production, controls, safety, quality, purchasing.
• Lead machine and process design improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, status reports, and documentation.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure accountability for deliverables.
• Coordinate resources to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Prepare operating procedures and training materials for personnel.
